النوع 3730-2 هو جهاز تحديد المواقع الكهرو-هوائي كامل الميزات مصمم للعمل في التطبيقات الصناعية العامة. يمكن أن يعمل هذا الموضع بطبيعته مع صمامات التحكم الخطية والدوارة أحادية المفعول بالإضافة إلى صمامات التحكم الخطية والدوارة مزدوجة المفعول مع إضافة مضخم عكسي. يوفر النوع 3730-2 المعايرة الذاتية والتكيفات التلقائية للصمام والمشغل الذي يتم التحكم فيه من خلال 4 طرق تهيئة. يحتوي جهاز تحديد المواقع الرقمي هذا على معلمات محددة مسبقًا بحيث لا يلزم تعديل سوى القيم التي تنحرف عن المعيار. مع أكثر من 50 معلمة و 30+ رمز خطأ ، يمكن توصيل غالبية الإعدادات والمعلومات الهامة. تسمح واجهة HMI (واجهة الآلة البشرية) لزر الضغط المفرد متعدد الدورات وشاشة LC بتوصيل المعلومات هذا مباشرة في الوحدة. جهاز تحديد المواقع الرقمي محمي ضد التلف الناتج عن انقطاع التيار الكهربائي للمعلمات بفضل تخزين ذاكرة EEPROM. لا يكون مستشعر السفر المعتمد على مقياس الجهد من النوع 3730-2 عرضة للتآكل الموجود غالبًا في مستشعرات السفر القائمة على التروس. يمكن تقييد نطاق السفر للنوع 3730-2 حتى 1/5 حد أقصى بالإضافة إلى تشغيله في نطاق مقسم.

The Type 3730-2 is a full feature electro-pneumatic positioner designed to work in general industrial applications. This positioner can work inherently with single-acting linear and rotary control valves as well as double-acting linear and rotary control valves with the addition of a reversing amplifier.  The Type 3730-2 provides self-calibration and automatic adaptions to the valve and actuator being controlled via 4 initialization methods.  This digital positioner has preset parameters such that only values deviating from the standard need to be adjusted. With 50+ parameters and 30+ error codes, the majority of critical settings and information can be communicated. The HMI (human machine interface) of the single multi-turn push button and LC-display allow this communication of information to occur right at the unit.   The digital positioner is protected against power failure damage to parameters thanks to EEPROM memory storage. The potentiometer-based travel sensor of the Type 3730-2 is not susceptible to wear often found in gear-based travel sensors.  The travel range of the Type 3730-2 can be restricted up to 1/5 maximum stroke as well as operated in split range.
